Willow Brook Stables is owned and operated by veterinarian Carolyn Cannizzo. Dr. Cannizzo grew up in White Rock, BC, Canada where her love of horses developed at a young age riding and competing Nationally in dressage. She attended the University of Victoria where she obtained her Bachelor of Science and then went on to graduate from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. Cannizzo moved to New York in January of 2011 to work at Belmont Park with racehorses. Here her love for racehorses grew and she met husband David, a horse trainer. In 2018, Dr. Cannizzo received her CVA (Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture). Dr. Cannizzo's experience with both elite racehorses and sport horses provides her the expertise to care for your athlete.
